2026 Madisonville

I feel the need... the need for speed.  So join us for this weekend overnight on a trip to Madisonville Texas and Brays Auto Museum and Track Experience.  It's a car museum with a collection of classic and supercars.  Then you can take your experience further as you feel the rush driving one of their cars to zip and whip around in style with a mile of track including 8 turns and 1/4 Mile straightaway.  
There is a cost of $20 (less for senior/military/1st responders/teachers) for the museum and the track is between $60-80 per lap depending on which car you decide to drive.  

We will go to the museum on Friday on our way to the hotel and then those that want to experience the track cars on Saturday can sign up on Friday while there.  For those that don't want to do the track experience on Saturday, we will have a suggested ride route around Lake Livingston near Huntsville with fuel and eating spots noted.  In addition, both Madisonville and Huntsville both have unique downtown areas for those that just want to explore the area with Huntsville State Park just down the road.

We will be staying at the Best Western in Madisonville.  We have a block of rooms reserved under CTHOG (or Central Texas Harley Owners Group). There are 8 kings and 8 suites (king + sofa bed) at $114.99/night. They matched the suites to single king because of all doubles being taken by a long term reservation. Breakfast is available at the hotel.  Friday lunch will be in Marquez at the Brandin Iron.  Friday night dinner will be at 6pm at Joe's Italian Grill which is a short drive away from the hotel.  Saturday Lunch will be on your own depending on where you decided to spend your Saturday.  Saturday night dinner will be at 6pm next door at the Mantel Sports Bar in conjunction with the Madisonville Christmas Shop which is open year round.
Extra snacks and beverages are within walking distance of the hotel across the street at Buc-cee's.
